President William Ruto on Saturday hosted his South Sudan counterpart, Salva Kiir, at State House, Nairobi, for bilateral talks.
The talks are centred around infrastructure projects.
In a tweet, Ruto said, “The signing of a deal on the establishment of a fibre optic cable along the Eldoret-Juba Road validates Kenya’s commitment to strengthening its ties with South Sudan.”
He continued, “We undertake to pursue joint infrastructural projects that will enhance connectivity, further integration and boost intra-regional trade for our prosperity.”
