Over the past day, 17 settlements in the Kharkiv region were under shelling.
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attack of Russian invaders in the area of the village of Gryanikovka in the Kupyansky district. This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. It suffers significant losses. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking additional measures to strengthen the defense,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
In the Kupyansk direction, over the past day, the invaders fired at the areas of the settlements of Novomlynsk, Dvurechnaya, Masyutovka, Sinkovka, Kupyansk, Stepnaya, Kislovka, Tabaevka, Starch, Berestovoe, Sandy, Cherry and Cherneshchina. Here they used tanks, mortars and artillery.
In the Slobozhansky direction, no signs of the formation of offensive groups were recorded. The Russian military attacked the territories of Veterinarnoe, Krasnoye, Volchansk and Dvurechanskoye settlements.
As KHARKIV Today wrote, Russia is strengthening its presence in the Kupyansky and Dvurechansky directions in the Kharkiv region and is trying to prevent the Ukrainian army from advancing. Attempts of a counteroffensive by the occupiers are not ruled out.
